Today we started our Seleta Chita collection. One of the brand’s designers took me to some of the popular fabric shops hidden away in the old town of recife – it was heavenly. There are hundreds of them, all filled floor to ceiling with luscious materials and lots and lots of Chita!

They transform Recife’s rubbish into beautiful products.
Creating these products enables them to generate income, keep a roof over their heads and give their children a brighter future.
Despite the challenges they face, these women are resilient, dedicated, positive and always smiling.
An inspiration to us all.
